Vanguard is a project inspired by the anti-gentrification protest. It serves as a visual statement, amplifying the voices of those affected by gentrification and demanding that gentrifiers take notice. The design draws from the historical use of wrought iron gates, symbols of wealth, protection, and stability, but reinterprets them as tools of protest.
